Olivia {Kansas City Metro Child Photographer}

I love this picture. We made valentines day cards from some of the images from this shoot. I'm so glad she still hams it up for the camera. It helps when you pay her in lollypops.

Love these boys. All from the same family but have different personalities. The oldest is reserved and gentle at heart, middle child is funny and a charmer, the youngest...will what can we say about the youngest of any family. They will always have a soft spot in our lives. Their mom Lisa is raising them to be gentlemen. She asked the boys to look at people in the eyes and acknowledge them. Both parents are busy chauffeuring them to and from sports activities.

logan {Kansas City Metro Senior Photographer}

This senior has it all. Logan has such a great personality. He is easy going. Which allowed me to be creative. While chatting during our shoot, Logan shared with me that he is heading to K-State next year to get a degree in business. He hopes to travel abroad because he picks up foreign languages easily. I have no doubt Logan will be successful at anything he wants to do. Good luck at K-State Logan.

Olathe Northwest HS. Choir {Kansas City Photographer}

This was the first time I shot a big group like this. The students were great, which made my job easy. I warned the mom helpers (by the way thank you moms) that it would be a challenge to get the guys to smile for me. I was wrong. They actually challenged each other to take the picture in one shot. They gave each other the knuckle fives when one did. Boys always make every thing a competition. It cracked me up. But I couldn't let them know because then it would not be cool to continue the game.

I was honored to have been part of the Fall Choir Festival. Pam, ONW Choir Director, was chosen to receive an award for "The High School Choir Director Of The Year" by her peers. She is so gifted. One of many things I heard about Pam was that all her students love her. It's a reflection of how much she loves what she does.

Last but not least, I want to thank two people who made this project come together. My mentor Tim Yeaglin, owner and photographer of Yeaglin Portraiture and Imaging. Thank you for your invaluable insight on the steps it took to make this project happen. Thank you for helping me shoot and your technical expertise during the shoot. There is no way I could have done it without you.
The other gentlemen I want to thank is Jim Newell, owner and photographer of
Studio 212 Photography. Thank you for lending me your light and also for giving me advice on how to rock this project out and future projects. You are so awesome.

Nicole { Kansas City Metro Senior Photographer}

I was honored to spend the afternoon with Nicole. After talking to her and her mom during our consultation and during the photo shoot, I found out that Nicole has accomplished so much during her high school years. She is the captain of the drill team, math quiz and respected by her teachers and peers. She is off to collage to get a degree in Business Management. I am so excited to see what she will do next. Good luck Nicole.

Red Roses { Kansas City Metro Area Sports Photographer }

What little darlings these girls are. Our shoot was in early morning which left dew on the ground the night before. We laid down the blanket so they would not have their uniforms wet. It's all about comfort and fashion at this age.

Merry Christmas from Koko Photography.
